Read on for the full lowdown on one of the best luxury boats in Sydney from the best luxury boat dealer in Sydney.
Design and Construction
As the name suggests, the Jeanneau Cap Camarat 9.0CC is nine metres long. It has the Jeanneau stamp all over it with its ultra-sleek design, modern touches and well-thought-through details.
Built to last, Jeanneau boats are manufactured from the finest materials backed up by years of design experience and expertise. You just have to glance at this boat to know that the world’s most skilled craftspeople have had a hand in its design.
There’s a three-seat helm station tucked behind a bigger-than-average console. Many boats this size have a console that is too small to be of much use. However, the Jeanneau Cap Camarat 9.0CC’s console has excellent proportions, making it the perfect spot to tuck yourself in from the elements.
Underneath the helm seat itself, there’s a useful mini-galley. Lift it up, and you’ll spot a handy single-burner gas stove on the left. On the right-hand side, there’s a practical little sink. There is storage space under the sink for the gas, and on the left-hand side, under the burner, there’s an excellent fridge.
The Cockpit and Seating Arrangments
Behind the helm position, you’ll find a wonderful entertaining space. A bench seat straddles the transom, and there’s lots of storage underneath. You’ll also find a table that sits in the middle. You can fold the table up, and suddenly, a roomy walkway opens up.
The design of the Jeanneau Cap Camarat 9.0CC revolves around the concept of one big “stem to stern” cockpit. You can stroll to the bow zone from the cockpit. Here, you’ll find a U-styled seating set-up with a big central lounger inviting you to the forward side of the console.
You can convert this lounger into one huge sun pad with an infill. This design is similar to the Walk-Around version of the boat, where you can cover its fore-cabin/fore-deck roof with cushions. This is the best place to stretch out and relax while enjoying the Aussie sun.
One clever feature of the central lounger is that when you remove it, you can lift the hatch underneath and access the cabin. This makes it ideal for chucking in all the boating gear that you’ll undoubtedly have taken out with you. It also provides ventilation for the cabin’s double berth.
Yet More Storage Space and Below Deck
You’ll find a fender locker sitting immediately behind the anchor locker. This is sufficiently spacious to store most of the boat’s fender complement. We’d suggest encasing a wiring joint inside that leads to a deck light. You can house a flexible remote control and the windlass in the anchor locker, allowing you to drop the hook from the nose.
Below the deck, there are plenty of surprises. You might expect a small toilet and some storage space. Not so with this high-performance boat. The Jeanneau Cap Camarat 9.0CC boasts a toilet compartment with a shower and sink, a double berth and a double child berth under the cockpit sole.
A tall adult would typically not be able to stand up fully in their heads. However, none of the below-deck areas feel cramped. That includes the sleeping arrangements. You may not want to spend a month on board, but the weekend is a very attractive option.
Designed by Michael Peters, renowned for his Bertram hull designs, the Jeanneau Cap Camarat 9.0CC can hold its own in all weather conditions. There’s a solid lay-up that’s evident when you begin pushing up the power upwind.
Performance and Handling
Our recommended version of the Jeanneau Cap Camarat 9.0CC comes with twin 225-horsepower Mercury outboard engines. This setup offers plenty of thrills and extra offshore security should one engine break down. The engines are a perfect match for the boat, giving it that low-down grunt it requires to pick up rapidly.
This boat has the driver in mind because it’s so much fun to drive, always with excellent visibility. If you prefer a single-engine setup, you can rig up to a single 350-horsepower engine. This will likely produce a 38-knot top speed and a claimed 1.6mpg at 25 knots.
The Jeanneau Cap Camarat 9.0CC has a sharp entry at the bow before flattening out and offering that all-important stability for fishing. You’ll feel nice and high when standing up and driving, and you’ll have a great view of all the gauges in front of you. There are trim tabs and trim on the engines, too.
Technology, Comfort and Reliability
The Jeanneau Cap Camarat 9.0CC has all the latest technological bells and whistles. Integrated smart technology enhances user experience. There’s a state-of-the-art entertainment system for would-be resident DJs and options for climate control and extra storage.
This high-performance boat has a brand name behind it that is synonymous with the reliability of its components and build quality. It also has all the safety features you’d expect, such as navigation aids and emergency equipment, too.
