About Rob
Rob is MW Marine’s resident shipwright, bringing craftsmanship, experience and a hands-on approach to every vessel that comes through our service department. He’s a true tradesman with a passion for quality – and always good for a laugh.
With years of experience in marine carpentry and structural work, Rob is the one we turn to for everything from detailed timber repairs to major fit-outs and modifications. His work is meticulous, and his deep understanding of boat construction means he can spot and solve issues others might miss.
Whether it’s refinishing a deck, restoring a hull, or customising cabinetry, Rob approaches every task with pride and precision.
Rob puts in the hard yards — on the tools during the day, then heading home to chip away at renovations on his house. Life is full but rewarding, especially with two young kids keeping him on his toes. Though under the pump, Rob’s great sense of humour and easy-going energy makes him a favourite around the marina.
